Hello Again

Hello, hello, hellooooooo…Again!

Welcome new and welcome old to Chasmic Desist! My name is Keyshawn Nunely and I am the owner, founder, and designer of all things Chasmic Desist (which I would hope you know by now). Like I said in the I section of this wonderful site, Chasmic Desist looks very different from what it originally was, but I should also add that it feels substantially lighter, positive, and well-versed. In other words, it’s in greater harmony than it ever was. Chasmic Desist and I have done a lot of work to reach this point and I am incredibly grateful that you have joined us to elevate and express ourselves through this journey called life. Without further ado, let’s get into what’s been going on!

Firstly, if you don’t understand the layout of the website or how this brand works because you have either been skipping or skimming, then I suggest frolicking through the site as you should: SOURCE -> SOULILOQUY -> RESONANCE -> LOVE. And, yes, the order matters! It’s not just a means for you to be more inclined to be a loyal customer (cough cough), but it is primarily a means to explain how we all fit into the bigger picture. One thing that you may have noticed and may be confused about are the cards. Why cards? Well, to put it simply,..., go to the DESIGNS and POETRY pages and get hypnotized by those videos ;). Next, if you’re not new to the brand, you’ll notice that we’re restarting with the design that started it all: Trust Issues. It is not only because it was the first ever design, but it’s also because my heart has always needed and deserved more attention than it was given. As a result, the design is as drastically different as its poem in that the meaning is more impactful and subtle. Its new intricacies and embedded passion are representative of the designs to come. Some designs will be entirely new while others will be complete redesigns from their original birth in the old world. This is all in an effort to make sure that every aspect of you and Chasmic Desist is represented more than properly. 

This then brings me to the products that are available for you to illustrate yourself! Let’s get a rundown on how everything works:

1. Most pieces of clothing are unisex; however, there are solely men’s and women’s items as well. How can you tell the difference? All unisex items only have the products themselves. There are no models in their pictures. Only the women’s and men’s centered items have actual models in their pictures. You are, of course, more than welcome to illustrate yourself in any way you see fit, but please remember to be mindful of the sizing differences!

2. I have decided to be playful with the names of everything as you may have noticed! The last go-round, my personality wasn’t truly in Chasmic Desist, so I decided to change that. Love it or hate it, they’re here to stay, so you might as well get used to it!

3. All products are categorized by their respective giveaway item and design. What’s the difference between the items? Nothing but the designs that are on them and the amount of work that goes into each design. The prices reflect the intricacy of the design and the work that went into it, the cost of the product itself, and the cost I incur but having you avoid paying for shipping.

4. The giveaway category will only be visible for certain giveaways. The current basketball gear giveaway is not present in the traditional sense since the logistics of it would be horrible and make me cry.

5. Only products that have been given the courtesy of having their picture taken will be available. It’s not just for you guys to see it in real life. No. Don’t be silly. These items all deserve their own modeling career!

As of right now, Trust Issues is the headline, but Chasmic’s logo has a meaning of its own and will always be first in line especially since they’re the firstborn.

Some other new and wonderful things around here include the YouTube Channel found on the SOCIALS page, the hand-drawn art for all home pages (art videos coming out for those later), the interesting words associated with each webpage, and even more mysteries to be discovered. 

There’s a lot more that can be said and a whole lot more adventures to be had, but we shall save those for later! Therefore, let’s see how much we can bloom together!
