The dictionary definition of love is an intense feeling of deep affection, interest, or pleasure for something. But, the more intuitive definition of love is a little bit more difficult to explain as it can take on many forms and be different for everyone. The one constant, however, seems to stem from a place of healthy positivity and respect for both others and yourself. After all, nobody can truly, one hundred percent love another person or thing until they learn to properly love themselves first. Otherwise, it just becomes an unhealthy dependency or connection that blinds you from the truth. This is where this portion of our journey together takes us.
To love yourself is to not only learn to accept, understand, and nurture all of your flaws and highlights, but also respect yourself enough to set healthy boundaries, have higher standards for yourself, and not allow yourself to be burdened by unnecessary negativity from others or from you. There is obviously more complexity related to this topic, but its core remains the same nonetheless. Additionally, I’d be remiss if I didn’t recommend therapy (traditional and otherwise), meditation, affirmations, and journaling to those who need it during this process, which many of us do. Once you find your SOULILOQUY and define your RESONANCE, however, shining into infinity doesn’t seem so difficult at all, now does it? After all, there is nothing more grandiose than painting a vividly beautiful picture of yourself and your journey for you and reality to enjoy and be inspired by.
I offer plenty of my own experiences and perspectives on this topic in the BLOG and YouTube channel found in SOCIALS.
